Ice Skating

We took Ryan ice skating a few weeks ago. After some tears because he wasn't good right away, we got a hold of the skate trainer for him. That gave him a lot more stability than what he got from me or Chris and he was much better off. We had a great time and Ryan's excited to go back soon!

Soccer

Here are a few action shots from Ryan's first soccer practice a couple weeks ago. First game is in October, so stay tuned for game pictures. Ryan's doing really well, is focused on getting to the ball and thankfully got Chris' athletic coordination and not mine!

Challenger Space Center

Day 2 of Ryan's fall recess - Ryan and I went to the Challenger Space Center for the first time today. We were able to walk around and see some exhibits, as well as take a tour and see a short movie about astronauts. Here are a few pictures...

Phoenix Zoo

Ryan has today and tomorrow off of school, so we headed out to the Phoenix Zoo this morning. We had lots of fun, but were very hot! Here are some pictures...

So being the obsessive person that I am, I have been scoping out our neighborhood Target for Halloween costumes so I can be sure to get the one that Ryan was hoping for. I happened to call today and found out they just put the costumes on display, so I headed over there on my way to pick Ryan up. I scored and got the Jango Fett (from Star Wars) costume that Ryan wanted! I decided to surprise Ryan with it when we got home tonight. He was beyond excited, ran and jumped on me to give me a hug after he saw it. I tried to capture his reaction in these pictures....

Oh, and you'll have to wait until Halloween to see him all dressed up:)
